We are currently seeking an independent experimental biologist with a strong interest in developmental/stem-cell biology, gene regulation, and epigenetics and the ability to work collaboratively with other experimentalists and computational scientists. The postdoc will develop and implement projects, utilizing modern genome editing and functional genomics approaches, to investigate the rules by which epigenetic state and transcription factor occupancy determine how complex loci containing multiple enhancers are regulated. The postdoc will work closely with computational scientists to develop and validate mathematical models and will have the opportunity to learn computational techniques. Successful candidates will be expected to mentor undergraduate and graduate students and interact with the larger developmental biology and epigenetics community at the University of North Dakota.
